About your job::
In this role you will execute the stations requirements on all aspects of HR and admin issues in line with the company’s procedures. This covers recruitment, training, personnel files, resignation, leave records, job descriptions and administrative functions of the station.
Your key accountabilities will include the co-ordination of all recruitment needs from the preparation of job descriptions, the selection of appropriate grading to the assessment of candidates and the eventual annual performance appraisals for selected candidates and current employees. You will support the company in its aim of moving towards an e-recruitment platform as well as maintaining accurate records on personnel files and co-ordinating Head Office requirements.
Further to this you will initiate welcome packs and inductions for new employees as well as co-ordinating training for the station. Processing and ensuring compliance on official requirements of employees including uniform, leave, rebates, duty travel, business cards and IT is essential as is the preparation of salary statements and letters whilst always ensuring compliance of local legislations and procedures.
You will be a graduate with relevant Management Development training courses and at least 2-3 years experience assisting management on HR and administrative issues. You must be able to work under pressure to defined tight timescales with an ability to adapt to changing needs and requirements. You will be fluent in both English and Arabic as well as having previous exposure to HR procedures and guidelines.
You must be computer literate with the ability to use database packages and have the initiative to solve recruitment problems and become a role model for e-recruitment practices. You will have knowledge of HR practices with a genuine desire to improve organisation performance and make a difference.
