  • Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in the Consulate Health Unit (HU). This job entails carrying out health care services to include diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of health problems for authorized patients at post.

Education: Master’s degree as Nurse Practitioner; or an equivalent degree in an accredited school of nursing program.

Licensure: Current NP or PA license from a US State.

Certification: American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). A PA requires National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Experience: A minimum of three years of recent experience as a registered nurse (RN) providing direct patient care.

Language: Level IV (fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. This will be tested.

WORK HOURS: Full-time; 40 hours/week

Duties: This person will work under the direct supervision of the Nurse Practitioner. The position will provide a full range of professional nursing services to Americans and Locally Employed Staff.

Work Experience and Qualification: The applicant must be a trained Professional Registered Nurse with comparable licensure.

Job Knowledge: Must be familiar with American Nursing standards of care.

Skills: Fluency in English is required.

WORK HOURS: Part-time 20 hours/week

SALARY: Ordinarily Resident (OR): AED 170,474 per annum
